"Mom's Home"
I spend much of my time connecting to and observing nature. Learning the lessons nature teaches us. Much about our world requires balance. We have somehow changed that precious balance. The planet is the mother that has given life to our world. This gift was given to us freely.
For mankind to be good stewards of the planet. I see our planet or mother to have
a spirit. One that can be felt in many different ways.
With the recent weather extremes, again, hitting many parts of our world. It may seem to some
that the weather has taken on a sort of angry feel to it. We are not prepared for the extremes
we are now expierencing.
We have been caught off guard.
Guess what everyone? Surprise! Mom's home. Yes Mom, Mother earth, Mother nature.
Yes Mom's home and she seems a little pissed. She gave to us humans a wonderful garden of
eden to live in and thrive. But we have not been good stewards of this gift. We are all to blame to some extent.
We like the things mother earth gives to us. We have taken for granted the clean air and water.
The food from the earth and the wildlife that enriches our home. Now for whatever reason our planet and climate is changing.
It doesn't matter why.
But the truth is in our hearts. We know we have not been good stewards of our home.
Yes Mom's home -better clean your rooms and pick up your stuff! She wants to know who messed up the planet.
So many have beat the drum, warning us that we may be effecting our planet.
Telling us to find a more sustainable ways to live.
Ways to share the earths resources with all.
There's still time.
If we love and protect the planet.
There can be enough for all to share.
Our mother is a forgiving mother and she loves us all.
Be kind to your planet and each other today and everyday, and give her some time to heal.
